Bunker
For this exhibition, entitled 'Bunker', Hatoum has transformed the gallery spaces into sites of heightened tension, where global geographies are abstracted and condensed, and themes of mobility, belonging and displacement are explored through three new artworks.

Observe Concrete Making
Mark Austin and Ray Salter will run concrete workshops (casting cubes, etc.) at the concrete lab with Construction Management students in weeks 2-6, every Tuesday from 14:00-15:00 hrs. Jane has negotiated the opportunity for us (5 students at a time) to observe the process. Please sign-up using the list which will be up in the studio on Thursday.
This is obligatory as part of Technology. Be equipped (camera, etc.) and make most use out of this. In case you are inspired after watching this and would like to do individual casts/test/details later on, Ray offered to assist you (despite being very busy this semester).
